AL Resources (ALR) has managed HWP since May 2008, taking the project from concept to resource consent application.  ALR continues to manage the project, working with the Canterbury Water Management Strategy, the Zone Committee, and the community to find a solution for water management in North Canterbury that is a win-win for the welfare of the community and the environment.

 

Eyris Blue Pearls

Eyris Blue Pearls have developed the stunning blue pearls that are grown locally in the indigenous abalone called the Paua.  It has taken 20 years to develop a process that is not only gem quality, but kind to the animal, environmentally sensitive, and commercially viable.  AL Resources is helping to expand the business into northern Europe, working with ethical jewellery designers.
